Welcome to the website of the NMA's Diabetes Education Program! This site, funded by a cooperative agreement from the National Diabetes Education Program (NDEP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has multiple purposes. It is intended to provide diabetes information to NMA physicians' patients and consumers of the general public; to educate those individuals with "pre-diabetes" and diabetes; educate and provide diabetes information for medical professionals, especially those in practice; and provide a tool and repository for information necessary for NMA affiliate leads to successfully manage the local diabetes coalitions in their areas. Your comments and suggestions regarding this site are encouraged and welcomed.
