  • National Kidney Foundation/Patient Section- The PATIENT section of the National Kidney Foundation web site provides information about Chronic Kidney Disease, Dialysis, and much more.
  • Transplant Living - Transplant Living is a project of the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), a nonprofit organization that maintains the national Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) under contract with the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
  • National Kidney Disease Education Program– this website provides an array of educational materials patients, families, and health professionals. The materials can be downloaded and are free. 
  • National Kidney Disease Education Program (Kidney Sunday) – this link serves to increase awareness in the African-American faith community about the risks for kidney disease.
  • National Kidney Foundation (Transplant Fact Sheet) – This link is a fact sheet developed by the NKF to provide information to patients who are on a transplant waiting list.
  • National Kidney Foundation (Fact Sheets) – This link provides access to fact sheets related to CKD public education, those at risk for CKD, those in one of the five stages of CKD, and kidney transplant.
